Is there any ongoing fees?
Yes, you will be charged an ongoing royalty fee of 6% of gross monthly sales and a marketing fee of 2% of gross monthly sales. The marketing fee will be reinvested in national advertising and promotions campaigns to build the King of Knives business.
Is my income guaranteed?
Due to the large number of variables we cannot guarantee your income or the success of your business, however we can release to you (upon approval of your franchise application), historical store performances and financial data.

Do I need retail experience?
No, understanding retail is advantageous but not necessary. We have successful franchises from all backgrounds.
Do I need to be an expert on the products?
No, we will give you full ongoing training on the products for sale. However you must be interested in learning about the products and passing this information onto your customers. King of Knives success is linked to offering its customers information and expertise on its product lines.
How long will it take before I am in a store?
It will depend greatly if you are going into a new store or taking over an existing store, generally once you have signed the franchise documents you will be in your store within 6 to 12 weeks.
